Jimmy (in Sacramento) the Dog needs a home

Gentleman Jimmy is a sweet heart of a guy.  He was with his family for 12 years and for some reason they took him to the shelter.  Fortunately we saw Jimmy, rescued him, and he’s a great little guy!  He’s had a good teeth cleaning and has a clean bill of health.


Jimmy is 12 years old and weighs about 14 pounds.  He loves his walks.  He gets so excited when his foster mom puts a leash on him that he puts leash in his mouth to say "let's go!".  He has such a great personality!  He does love the couch, but also loves to play!


He does do well in a crate.  He likes just hanging out in his crate, and sleeps very well at night with no whining.


Jimmy is a people pup, so if you’re home a lot, he will love the heck of it.  He also would love a secure fenced yard to play in.  Jimmy gets along with other dogs so a buddy is probably on his wish list.  And he loves all people.
